PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the precise setting of laser power in a short time. SOLUTION: A 1st sector format corresponding to the physically recorded address information is set, meanwhile, with respect to a disk recording medium to which the data recording/reproducing operation is performed by a 2nd sector format at the recording/reproducing time, the recording/reproducing operation at the laser power setting is performed by the 1st sector format. Also, a certain start position on a track is set, and an end position which is the position within one round from the start position, is set as the position returnable to the start position by a track jump in the period of the round of the disk 1 from the above start position, then the specified recording/reproducing operation for setting the laser power is executed in the section from the start position to the end position. |
