PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove acid gas and nitrogen oxides contained in smoke and soot and to wholly treat heavy metals by providing both a first bag filter to which alkaline substance is stuck and a second bag filter arranged on the rear flow side in the flow direction of exhaust gas of the first bag filter and stuck with activated carbon. SOLUTION: A storage tank 20 of slaked lime and a feeder 21 for quantitatively supplying slaked lime are provided in a first bag filter 15. Slaked lime supplied from the feeder 21 is injected into a flue of the front step of the first bag filter 15 by a fan 22 for force-feeding slaked lime and stuck on the surface of the filter cloth of the first bag filter 15. A storage tank 25 of activated carbon and a feeder 23 for quantitatively supplying activated carbon are provided in the front step of a second bag filter 17. Activated carbon is stuck on the surface of the filter cloth of the second bag filter 17 by a fan 24 for force-feeding activated carbon. Hydrogen chloride and sulfur oxides contained in exhaust gas as well as smoke and soot are removed with the first bag filter, and heavy metals and dioxins contained in exhaust gas are removed with the second bag filter. |
