PURPOSE: A solenoid valve of brake system is provided to open and close the valve by equipping self-equilibrium when the valve opens and closes. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve(40) of brake system includes a valve housing(41); a plunger; a valve seat(47); a side passage(47b); a closing member(48) and an outlet passage(41b). The valve housing has a hollow(41c) and an inlet(41a) around the valve housing. The plunger moves back and forth by electric force into the hollow of the valve housing. The valve seat is installed inside the hollow of the valve housing to open and close the passage by contacting the end of the plunger. An orifice(47a) is formed inside the valve seat. The side passage is formed to the valve seat in opposite direction. Therein, flown oil to the inlet flows in the hollow of the valve seat and the plunger through the orifice. The closing member closes a lower portion of the hollow to make oil flow to the plunger. The outlet passage is installed to a side of the hollow to exhaust oil to a lower portion of the valve housing. An upper portion of the outlet passage is connected to an outlet of the orifice. Therefore, opening and closing control of the valve is easy by having self-equilibrium.
