The automatic lottery distribution machine has a strip carrying a succession of tickets with precut separation lines, and a drive mechanism to displace the strip. A deflector (30) at the side of the path of the strip extends over the ticket as it is delivered and flattens the ticket after it has been bent in the transport path.
