PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tasty cooked rice using wash-free rice by cooking in sequence appropriate for wash-free rice using a rice cooker that is appropriate for cooking wash-free rice. SOLUTION: A pan 1 in which the food to be cooked is to be placed is heated by a heating device 2 and a cooking sequence appropriate for cooking wash-free rice that is to be cooked in the pan 1 is memorized in the memorizing device 6. The heating device 2 is controlled by entering the output of the first temperature detecting device 3 that detects the boiling and the output of the second temperature detecting device 5 that detects the temperature of the pan 1 into the controlling device 8. The controlling device 8 is constructed so that the rice is cooked by the cooking sequence memorized in the memorizing device 6 when the cooking of wash-free rice is selected by the selecting device 7 for selecting the cooking of wash-free rice. |
