PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a reversible thermal recording material which eliminates a defect for high dry strength in a coating and drying process, prevents the narrowing of a transparence temperature range by a method for temporarily dissolving a solid organic low molecular weight substance in a film forming process, and has structure forming a mixed domain of at least two organic low molecular weight substances which can expand the selection range of organic low molecular weight substances. SOLUTION: The method for producing the reversible thermal recording material having the structure forming the domain in which the organic low molecular weight substances are mixed in a resin matrix and a reversible thermal recording layer has a process for temporarily dissolving the organic low molecular weight substance by a solvent in a coating solution, a process for depositing the organic low molecular substance from the solution, a process for pulverizing the deposited particles, a process for preparing a coating liquid containing the pulverized organic low molecular weight substance, a process for applying the coating liquid, and a process for heat-drying the coating film. |
