PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior bedding that generates many negative ions, has ventilation, water-absorbing, deodorizing, antibiotic, and far-infrared radiation effects, and is free from difficulties in obtaining a generator. SOLUTION: Bedding that uses shirasu (deposited volcanic ash and sand) powder generates negative ions using shirasu powder as an interior material of bedding such as various mattresses or pillows. More specifically, shirasu powder in particulate form made by grinding shirasu, which is volcanic ash, or processed materials in particulate form such as shirasu balloon are used for the bedding.
