<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder abnormality detector capable of reducing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: This feeder abnormality detector comprises a tape feeder 31 that feeds component accommodation tape T forward in a state where the component accommodation tape T is pressed down to a tape installation running surface by a tape presser member 35, having a light transparent part 36 that passes light beam B in a lateral direction to the tape presser member 35; a feeder mounting portion where the tape feeder 31 is mounted; a floodlight means 71 that emits light beam B to the light transparent part 36 of the tape presser member 35; a light interruption detection means 72 to detect whether the light beam B passing the light transparent part 36 is interrupted; and a feeder abnormality detection means that detects abnormalities in the set locations of the tape feeder 31 and the tape presser member 35 when the light beam B passing the light transparent part 36 is interrupted based on information from the light interruption detection means 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
