<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device for displaying a desired video image by reading a data file stored in external storage equipment, wherein the device can be operated intuitively and quickly for display. <P>SOLUTION: The information display device 100 includes an information processor 40 for outputting a video signal to a display device 200, and the external equipment connection device 50 to which the external storage equipment (USB memory) 30 can be attached and detached. The external equipment connection device 50 has a connection part 51 integrally provided with an operation detection part 53 for detecting a change of the position (attitude) in a casing of the external storage equipment 30 as an operation applied to the external storage equipment. The information processor 40 reads predetermined operation data designating a command for executing a specific operation according to the operation applied to the external storage equipment 30, depending on the detection result of the operation detection part 53, and executes the command corresponding to the operation on the basis of the read operation data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
