<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process state monitoring device for monitoring the state of each process under execution by process units without depending on an OS. <P>SOLUTION: This process state monitoring device is composed as terminal equipment which executes a plurality of processes by simultaneously performing a plurality of programs such as, for example, a server device, and provided with a plurality of processing process execution means for respectively performing the processing processes and a state monitor process execution means for executing a state monitor process. In such a state that the plurality of processing processes are executed, the state monitor process execution means periodically requests process information to the plurality of processing process execution means, and receives the process information from the plurality of processing process execution means. Then, the received process information is updated and stored by processing process units.
