The module has a set of cold fluid circulation tubes (2) e.g. glycol-water mixture circulation tubes, extending parallel to each other in two rows (22) located on both sides of a row (21) of hot fluid circulation tubes (1) e.g. exhaust gas circulation tubes. Thermoelectric elements (3) create electric current from temperature gradient applied between contact faces (4a, 4b) of the elements in contact with the tubes. A compression unit is supported on each row of the cold fluid circulation tubes for applying compression force in the direction of the row of hot fluid circulation tubes. The thermoelectric elements are chosen from p-type and n-type thermoelectric elements. An independent claim is also included for a thermoelectric device.
