Suggested are an automatic detection method of PPL using model generation and a device thereof. The automatic detection method of the PPL suggested by the present invention may comprise: a step of producing and storing a plurality of leaning images regarding an object of interest in a past broadcasting image and a tagging file matched to the leaning image; a step of producing and storing a model to detect the object of interest in a target broadcasting image by using the leaning image and the tagging file; and a step of detecting and displaying the object of interest in the target broadcasting image by using the stored model.
