<p>Longitudinal continuous decanter for flow sepn. comprises an inlet zone (1) for the liq. to be treated comprising a distribution system for the liq., a homogenisation zone (2) ensuring the inlet energy is dissipated and a regular and even velocity is maintained at the exit from this zone, a decanting zone (3) with a homogenised flow of regular and even velocity maintained throughout its length with a high Froude number to guarantee the stability of the flow, and a sepn. and extraction zone (4) at the downstream end of the decanter where the treated liq. is removed from the surface and the decanted matter from the base of the decanter.</p> |
