PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide smooth speed change without causing shifting shock by mounting a control means for applying braking force by frictional force against the rotation of a flywheel, and operating the braking means so as to synchronize rotational speed between a speed change gear and a main shaft at the time of speed change of a vehicle. SOLUTION: For a flywheel 45 which a clutch mechanism 5 fitted on one end of the crank shaft 3 of an engine 1, a brake caliper 13 serving as a braking means is fitted, whose braking operation is conducted by an actuator 19. Namely, at the time of speed change, a clutch mechanism 5 is set in a partially engaged clutch condition, and synchronizing speed after speed change is calculated from rotational speed by a speed change sensor 27. Based on the comparative results between the synchronizing speed after speed change and the input shaft rotational speed by a speed sensor 25, the brake caliper 13 is operated, by which the rotational speed of the main shaft in a transmission device 7 is synchronized with the rotational speed of the second speed change gear. It is thus possible to provide speed without causing shifting shock. |
