PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus to prevent the portion of a continuation from overlapping and being output by stopping image output when completing sort output until the time when overflow occurrs. SOLUTION: Header information of one printing job and a specified printing number of copies are stored in a storage device (S2) Subsequently, the printing data is transmitted from a host 3 (S3), and then data processing is performed to secure a storage area on the storage device (S4). If not securing a storage area (NO route), accumulated data stored by then in the storage device is output as an image (S12). Next, the number of copies is checked after all accumulated data is output (S13). If output of the specified number of copies is not completed, the process jumps to Step S12 again and output of accumulation data is reperformed. If output of the specified number of copies is completed, output is stopped (S14). |
