PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely manage a database, without using specific hardwares or devices and manage historical information on data and versions of the data. SOLUTION: The system provides a onetime write-only database managing modified information, not by overwriting data but by appending data to the data. Placing a signature with a private key of a user who has appended the data on the data and further placing a signature with a private key of a database system on the data. Accordingly, the database system ensures which user has appended the data according to the signature and prevents unauthorized rewriting, etc., fabricating data, without leaving the evidence of tampering, not only by third parties but by the very person who has appended the data. It is also possible for the database system to detect the modified information appended on the pre-modification data and set a user, having the right to overwrite the pre-modification data by the modified data, which has reflected to the modified information. |
