PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dicing device which can perform the dressing of a blade during a cutting step without positioning a spindle or a cutting table in X-axis or Y-axis direction again. SOLUTION: In the dicing device 10 which has a spindle provided with a blade 16 to machine a work 8 on a tip thereof, covers the blade 16 by a flange cover 18, rotates the blade 16 at a high speed to machine the work 8 to a predetermined shape, a support member 36 having a supporting rod 52 with a columnar dress 30 fitted thereto is fitted to the flange cover 18 so as to be pivotably driven around the axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the blade 16 with respect to the cover 18, and the support member 36 is movable in the direction attachable/detachable to/from the blade 16, and is located in the vicinity of a substantially tangential line of the blade 16 during the dressing to dress the blade 16. |
