PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic information retrieval device which can reduce the time and labor to retrieve information through the Internet by judging whether or not data of a connected Internet site are updated and receiving and storing the data of the connected Internet site when it is judged that the data are updated. SOLUTION: It is decided whether or not the connected site is a site which is already stored in a memory (S8). When the connected site is stored in the memory, 1st time point information and 2nd time point information which are extracted are compared (S9). When it is confirmed that the 1st time point information is temporarily delayed behind the 2nd time point information, it is judged that currently received data are updated data (S10) and a message indicating whether or not update can be performed to the outside is outputted (S11). At this time, the received data are stored in a new file (S12).
