PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve gloss calibration for matching the glossiness of an individual apparatus with each other in an image forming system having a plurality of image forming devices including an image forming device which is not equipped with constitution for gloss control. SOLUTION: When cluster printing is designated and gloss calibration processing is determined to be performed (S703), standard image data are transmitted to a target machine so as to print a standard image (S707). The target machine prints the standard image on recording paper based on the transmitted standard image data (S708). Then, a control machine measures the glossiness of the standard image printed by means of the target machine by a user and calculates the glossiness GT (S709). Then, the control machine obtains a gloss characteristic table (S710), and decides the fixing temperature of its own so as to be matched with the calculated glossiness GT of the target machine based on the gloss characteristic (S711). |
