PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relive a processing load by simplifying hand-over processing, to smoothly conduct hand-over by decreasing processing time and to enhance reliability by reducing momentary interruption or total interruption of communications thereby. SOLUTION: In this communication system, an idle slot is selected and assigned to both a radio zone where an approaching vehicle is in existence and a radio zone adjacent in a traveling direction in the case of assigning a slot to the approaching vehicle, and in the case of hand-over, whether the slot having already been assigned to the vehicle is in use or idle in a radio zone of a moving destination is discriminated and only when the slot is in use, slot re-assignment processing is conducted and when the slot is idle, the slot in use is used further. |
