Arrangement for identification of one object or person from a variable number of object or people. Each object (1) receives a data-badge or support that can be read by a reader device (3). The latter comprises send and receive devices for recording the signal from the badge. It also has a sheet printer (7) and or an audible or visual signaling device. An Independent claim is made for a method for identifying individual objects so that they can be quickly counted and inventoried.
