PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color adjustment method that can reproduce the single K color without causing a muddy color by using a quantity of K print color much the same as that of a printed matter when a calibration use color printer provides an output of a printout after the color of a printer is reproduced, and to provide a program to execute the color adjustment method and a recording medium with the program stored. SOLUTION: The color adjustment method includes a step S24 of generating a 2nd color profile storing 4 CMYK colors for printout by the calibration color printer on the basis of the combination of 4 CMYK colors of the printer and a 1st color profile of the printer and the calibration color printer and also generating a K's gradation correction curve, a step S25 of obtaining the value of CMY (CMYK at K=0) for the calibration color printer on the basis of the combination of the CMY (CMYK at K=0) for the printer and of obtaining the K color from K's gradation correction curve to generate the 2nd color profile again, and a step S26 of applying color correction to image data on the basis of the 2nd color profile to obtain the CMYK value and obtaining the CMYK color which the calibration color printer outputs.
