APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING VIRTUAL SHOES ON THE FEET OF A USER AND THE CORRESPONDING METHOD

An apparatus is disclosed for displaying virtual shoes on the feet of a user comprising a pair of special footwear items (1) suitable for being worn by a user, a camera (2) suitable for photographing the image of the user wearing said footwear items (1), computer means (3) comprising a database containing a catalogue of virtual shoes and software (MMAPP) capable of processing the image coming from the camera (2) replacing said pair of special footwear items (1) with a pair of virtual shoes chosen by the user from said catalogue. The computer means (3) is suitable for replacing in real time a further image (4) of the user wearing the chosen virtual shoes and the apparatus comprises a display (5) for displaying said further image (4).
