PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system, an imaging device and a manufacturing method of the optical system that enable shooting with respect to a plurality of object side media different in a refractive index, and render an excellent optical performance even in a shooting state in any medium.SOLUTION: An optical system ZL enabling shooting with respect to a plurality of media (for example, air and water) different in a refractive index includes, lined in order from an object side: a front side lens group (a first lens group G1 in Fig.1) that has a position in an optical axis direction fixed, and a rear side lens group (a second lens group G2 to a fourth lens group G4 in Fig.1). The rear side lens group has at least two movement lens groups (the second lens group G2 and the third lens group G3 in Fig.1), and in changing an object side medium, the at least two lens groups in the rear side lens group are moved along the optical axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
