<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal in which the success rate of a channel switching sequence can be raised. <P>SOLUTION: The method for switching the channel comprises the steps of performing a switching operation of a CH-A to a CH-B only at a transmitter and a receiver #1 when a switching command is delivered from a network to the mobile communication terminal, and holding the CH-A as it is in a receiver #2. The method further comprises the step of deciding the synchronization of a received signal by the receiver #2 which holds the CH-A as it is when the establishment of the synchronization becomes NG after the receiver #1 switches to the CH-B. The method also comprises the step of again switching from the CH-B to the CH-A in the transmitter and the receiver #1 when the decision of the synchronization of the receiver #2 becomes OK. The method also comprises the step of performing the switching operation from the CH-A to the CH-B only in the transmitter and the receiver #1 when the network retransmits the switching command from the CH-A to the CH-B. The method also comprises the steps of holding the CH-A as it is in the receiver #2, and performing the switching operation from the CH-A to the CH-B when the establishment of the synchronization of the receiver #1 becomes OK. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
