PURPOSE:To obtain a complicately shaped resin hollow article, by connecting thermosetting resin parts, which are formed at least by splitting into two, to construct a hollow body, inserting it as injection molding core into a mold and covering at least a part of the peripheral portion of said core by means of a thermosetting resin foam injection molding. CONSTITUTION:Parts 1 formed previously at least by splitting into two are bonded, fused and caulked as occasion demands to construct a hollow body by combining and connecting said parts, said hollow body as injection molding core is inserted into a mold 3, at least a part of the peripheral portion of said core is covered by means of foam injection molding of a thermosetting resin 2 to make an outer skin, and a complicately shaped resin hollow article having an excellent structural strength is obtained by integrating said outer skin with said core. |
