<p>The invention relates to a static seal intended to provide a seal between two non-moving parts with mutually opposing flat surfaces not pressing towards one another, the seal being accommodated in a groove in one of the surfaces and having a body designed to be accommodated inside said groove and lateral arms formed on either side. The said lateral arms (9, 10) are joined to the said body (7) by zones of reduced cross section (11, 12). The said body extends beyond its zone to which the lateral arms are connected by a lower bead (17) whose cross section decreases in the direction of its outermost limit. <IMAGE></p> |
