PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the synchronization performance and to transmit plural kinds of frames including frames without synchronizing bytes. SOLUTION: A transport stream is given to a scramble circuit 2, a reed Solomon coding circuit 5, an interleave circuit 6, in which scramble processing, read Solomon coding processing and interleave processing are conducted and the result is given to a code insert circuit 31. The code insert circuit 31 inserts an inverted FAW to a head frame of a scramble frame and a FAW is inserted to a head of the other frame. An output of the code insert circuit 31 is modulated and outputted. As a frame synchronizing code, the FAW, a SYNC, the inverted FAW and inverted SYNC are used. The frame synchronizing code has high autocorrelation than the SYNC and the inverted SYNC, the synchronization performance at a receiver side is improved. |
