<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal system that can extend the duration of a battery of a mobile information terminal making two-way communication of a moving picture and to provide a mobile information terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile information terminal is provided with: an imaging means for imaging a moving picture, a moving picture compression means for applying compression coding to the first moving picture data denoting the moving picture picked up by the imaging means to produce the first compression moving picture data, a transmission means for externally transmitting the first compression moving picture data produced by the image compression means, and a revision means that revises at least either of a compression rate of the first moving picture data at which the moving picture compression means applies compression coding to the first picture data and an image size of the first moving picture data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
