PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing data and a method for retrieving data in which a communication load can be reduced by reducing the load of a main storage device and a central processor, and the through-put of a data processing can be improved. SOLUTION: An analysis table is prepared based on the data of the list structure of an external storage device 33, data are retrieved based on this analysis table. A parent relationship and a pointer number for interpreting it are set in each member of a list structure by using a central processor 31, a table for indicating the parent relationship is prepared, an address number is set in each member, and each element attribute is written in the pertinent position of the table for preparing an analysis table. The pointer number of the member pertinent to request data is set, and the parent relationship of the analysis is traced for referring to the element attribute of the member. |
