<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any confusion in a process, and to reduce costs at the time of manufacturing a turbine for thermal power generation. SOLUTION: An arborescent product constitution chart is prepared in the data base of a computer system by a PDM system, and drawing information, budget information, and cost result information or the like is related with each constituting element and registered. At the time of newly ordering a turbine, the product constitution chart of the previously manufactured similar turbine is made open to the public on an LAN system (extranet 18) in its own company as the product constitution chart of a new turbine so than preliminary preparation can be realized. At that time, the undecided part and decided part of specifications are displayed in different colors, and the display color of the decided part of the specifications is changed according to the progress of its design. The display color of the product constitution chart is changed to the color of the decided part so that the manufacturing or purchase can be instructed.</p> |
