BASE ISOLATION STRUCTURE FOR FLOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structure for a floor capable of keeping stability of the floor in a small earthquake and protecting equipment on the floor by surely activating a base isolation device at a required trigger load. SOLUTION: This base isolation structure is for a floor 2 supported by a structure body 1 through the base isolation device 3. A connecting member 8 movably connecting the floor 2 and destructing from shear force to allow activation of the base isolation device 3 when an earthquake force of a required activation earthquake level acts on the floor 2 is installed between the floor 2 and the structure body 1. An actual activation earthquake level of the base isolation device 3 itself is smaller than an activation earthquake level required for the floor 2.
