<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image outputting device and an image outputting method capable of performing a pseudo-halftone process designated for every object irrespective of kinds of objects even when a PDL job having a halftone processing definition changing for every object is inputted. <P>SOLUTION: A raster image processor 420 acquires object data outputted from a host computer 400, and develops the acquired object data to a multi-value bit map image. A rasterizer 421 extracts the halftone processing definition or the like on each object included in the object data. Moreover, an image processing part 430 generates a binary bit map image by carrying out halftone processing to each object included in the multi-value bit map image.
