PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device in which an operation position signal can be outputted in accordance with an operation position of a fog switch knob even in case a light switch is at an AUTO position. SOLUTION: The switching device is provided with a shifting mechanism in which if a light switch knob is positioned auto or tail and when the fog switch knob 15 is operated from a second off position to a front position, the light switch knob is made to shift to a head position, linking with the above operation. As a result, if the light switch is positioned at auto or tail and when the fog switch knob 15 is rotated from the second off position to the front position in order to use a fog lamp, a holding status of the light switch knob at auto position is released mechanically by the operation of the shifting mechanism linking with the rotating operation, and the light switch knob is shifted to a head position.
