The present invention relates to an incombustible lid for a low voltage connection box and a manufacturing method thereof which ensure light weight and excellent fireproof properties by forming the lid of the underground low voltage connection box, from which an underground low voltage line is branched, by using incombustible fiber-reinforced plastic. The incombustible lid for a low voltage connection box according to the present invention, which opens and closes the upper part of the low voltage connection box buried underground, includes a base board which is formed with an insulating synthetic resin or a plaster material; and an incombustible sheet which is molded by impregnating incombustible fiber with a resin aqueous solution and which is directly bonded to one side or both sides of the base board in a semi-dried prepreg state by being heated and compressed at a set temperature and a set pressure, wherein the resin aqueous solution is obtained by mixing a methylol melamine resin with an inorganic flame retardant, adding a solvent into the mixture, dispersing the mixture in the solvent, and the diluting the dispersant with water. |
