In a DC/DC converter, a high-voltage-side smoothing capacitor is connected in parallel with a series circuit in which four switching elements (S1)-(S4) are connected, in that order, in series via first to third connection parts. A charge-discharge capacitor is connected between the first and third connection parts. The low-voltage-side voltage applied to the second connection part through a reactor is increased through the opening and closing of (S1)-(S4) and output from the series circuit. A first controller (25) computes a first computed value on the basis of the difference between the output voltage Vout and a first calculated value calculated on the basis of a detected value for the charge-discharge capacitor voltage. A second controller (26) computes a second computed value on the basis of the difference between a charge-discharge capacitor voltage target value Vcf* and the charge-discharge capacitor voltage Vcf. A control block (27), (28) adds and subtracts the first and second computed values, controls the output voltage and charge-discharge capacitor voltage by controlling the conduction rates of (S1)-(S4), and prevents excess voltage from being applied to (S1)-(S4). |
