PURPOSE:To enable increase of a power capacity for drive, by a method wherein an electric pulse signal responding to a signal to set on output from a piezoelectric vibrator is converted into a photo pulse signal, and through control of a current based on the photo pulse signal, driven of the piezoelectric vibrator is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder part 1f is situated to the side of a pump chamber 1a formed to the lower end part of a pump case 1, and a piston 2 is slidably insertedly engaged internally of the cylinder part. The piston 2 is connected through a joint member 5 to a vibrating end 3b on the lower end side of a lamellar piezoelectric vibrator 3 located in juxtaposition with the pump case 1. A protection cover 6 is positioned in a manner to surround a pump part formed with the pump chamber 1a, the cylinder part 1f, and the piston 2. In this case, a signal converting part C to receive a signal by means of which an output from the piezoelectric vibrator 3 is set and output a pulse signal by means of which the phase of a commercial power source is controlled is provided, based on a pulse signal, a current is controlled through a photo coupler PC to control drive of the piezoelectric vibrator 3. |
