PURPOSE:To obtain a chewing gum, containing a specific amount of theanderose in a gum paste, having soft chewiness and capable of sustaining fine texture and smooth palatability with low cariogenicity. CONSTITUTION:The objective chewing gum containing theanderose (isomaltosyl fructoside) which is saccharides having the carbon atom at the 1-position of glucosyl group linked to the carbon atom at the 6-position of sucrose through alpha-glucoside bond as a sugar ingredient in an amount of 50-700 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. gum paste. |
