A portable lamp has a battery-accommodating tubular housing (11), which is closed in a pressure-proof fashion by a cover cap (12). Welded to the housing (11) itself is a tube (15), which has the form of a conical frustum and whose outer surface surrounds in a pressure-proof fashion a metal core (20) which has an internal thread (26, 27) in which a threaded ring (28) serves for fixing a lens arrangement (41, 42, 44). Owing to the fact that the tubular housing is sealed in a pressure-proof fashion with the tube, the metal ring, the threaded ring and the lens arrangement, the lamp can be used optimally as an explosion-protected portable lamp in potentially explosive regions of the zone O. |
