The unit consists of a guide collar (9) made up of two flanges (5,6), in which can slide a vertical member (4), of which one (5) is fitted to the ends of a cross member (3), and the other (6) is able to move, but in a limited way, to the fixed collar by pegs (18) sliding in angled slots (17) formed in the fixed flange (5). This action introduces a displacement of the two flanges one towards the other in the transverse plane (P1) so that they clamp the vertical member (4) which follows the vertical axis (10). Use/Advantage - An adjustable fixing collar for to assembly of scaffolding which dispenses with the need for clamping bolts.
