摘要 An arm pivoted on a cylinder-head (1) fitted bearing block (2) acts as drag lever (5,6) responsible for clearing the cam circle path, the bearing block being an independent component firmly screwed to the head. One end of the lever is mounted on the block as compared with the far end which carries a play compensator (10) resting on the respective valve shaft (9). The two ends of the lever are divided by a fixed endstop (20) forming a nose (20) on the bearing block to engage a corresponding recess on the drag lever. The block should be offset to the side between the two valves (3,4) and itself straddled by drag lever arms for the respective valve plus an associated cam working with the two levers. Noses may be fitted both sides of the bearing block and the two levers are triggered by associated cams using a third cam between the first two to trip a diesel engine pump nozzle.
