PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce printer costs by constituting a mechanism to transfer image data asynchronously inexpensively in a printer and to enable high speed transfer by preventing the generation of the delay of the asynchronous transfer of the image data. SOLUTION: A data receiving part 4 informs whether input image data is being received or the receiving is finished to a data receiving control part 71 and a data sending control part 73 by a receiving completion signal, a data sending part 5 informs whether output image data is being sent or the sending is finished to the part 73 and the part 71 by a sending completion signal, the part 71 recognizes the sending/receiving state of the image data on the basis of receiving completion notice and sending completion notice and controls the data receiving part 4, while the part 73 recognizes the sending/receiving state of the image data on the basis of receiving completion notice and sending completion notice and controls the data sending part 5. |
