PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove deposits before coating by spraying an always fine surface conditioning liquid to a material to be coated. SOLUTION: A cab 3 is immersed into a surface treating liquid vessel 2 and is rested for a prescribed time and thereafter the cab 3 is pulled up by a lifter 8 and the supernatant 5 of the surface conditioning liquid 1 not containing settled deposits 4 is inhaled by a second pump 12. This supernatant 5 is sprayed to the cab 3 from a nozzle 13 to flush away the settled deposits 4, such as dust and foreign matter, sticking to the cab 3.
