The machine has one or more bending tools (3), a bending mold (5,6,7) for each bending level, and clamp jaws (9,10) born on a jaw support (24). The support consists of several support units (28,29,30), connected detachable and above each other in direction of the bending axis (8). The units are distributed over different bending levels, with one for each level. The work piece is supported on a slide rail (44) with similarly located rail support units (33,a,34,a,35,a). All components form a modular construction.
