PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby a display apparatus connected to an in-house network displays an image with an intended layout independently of its resolution and can avoid overlapping of image data resulting from different sources. SOLUTION: In a system wherein an apparatus to be controlled transmits control information including image data of a remote control panel, a control device displays the remote control panel and also transmits an operation entry of an operator to the apparatus to be controlled to control the apparatus to be controlled, the control information includes at least the image data and position designation information, the position designation information for designating a position of image data display by means of two-dimensional coordinates on the display apparatus includes information for selecting and designating the origin of the coordinates from any of four corners on the display apparatus and information for designating a direction of a coordinate axis so as to arrange the image for the operation on the display screen as a position intended by the operator.
