<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive force distribution controlling device of a four-wheel drive car capable of assuring the stability of vehicle behavior by satisfactorily suppressing the affection by the interference of control and abrupt change of drive force distribution in a travel state in which a vehicle behavior control is performed by adding a braking force. <P>SOLUTION: This drive force distribution control device of a four-wheel drive car comprises a stability controller 17 for controlling the vehicle behavior by adding the braking force and a drive force distribution controller 11 variably controlling a drive force distribution between right and left rear wheels 10RR and 10RL and right and left front wheels 10FR and 10FL. A method for controlling the distribution comprises the coordination control steps S3 to S8 of limiting the drive force distribution between the right and left rear wheels 10RR and 10RL and the right and left front wheels 10FR and 10FL according to the magnitude of the added braking force when the braking force is added to the wheels by the stability controller 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
