USE OF BLUE-LIGHT SCREENING AGENT FOR INHIBITING DEGRADATION OF ENDOGENOUS CAROTENOIDS IN SKIN, NEW AMINOARYLVINYL-S-TRIAZINE COMPOUND AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament for screening out light radiation with a wavelength ranging from 370 to 500 nm as an agent for inhibiting the degradation of endogenous carotenoids present in the skin; and to provide an external preparation for the skin containing the medicament. SOLUTION: Flavonoid polyphenols, carotenoids, chlorophylls, melanins and specific aminoarylvinyl-s-triazine compounds, concretely 2,4,6-tris(2-ethylhexyl-4'-ylamino-α-cyanocinnamate)-s-triazine are used as medicaments for screening. The medicament for screening screens out light radiation (corresponding to blue light beam) with a wavelength ranging from 370 to 500 nm, keeps the accumulation of the endogenous carotenoids present in the skin, and holds the natural skin color.
