The main purpose of one of the embodiments of the present invention is to provide a decorative article with which it is possible to suppress a reduction in design properties over time in a high-temperature environment, and to provide a laminate for decoration that is used in the decorative article. One of the embodiments of the present invention is a decorative article having an adherend containing a resin, an adhesive layer disposed on the adherend, and a decorative layer disposed on the adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer is obtained by mixing an acrylic resin having a carboxyl group and a crosslinking agent having an epoxy group, and a moiety is included that has an ester group obtained from a reaction between the carboxyl group and the epoxy group, whereby the aforementioned purpose is achieved.
