<p>The loose leaf binder uses sheets (1) and covers (1a, 1b) provided with a row of rectangular holes (5). The binding strips (2) are of rubber and are provided with a row of alternately spaced plugs (3) and sockets (4). The plugs (3) are of rectangular cross section with a central slot (6) dividing the plug into two spring fingers. The edges of the finger are provided with a row of saw-teeth (7). The sockets (4) are provided with matching saw-teeth. A strip (2) is applied to each side of the binder (1) so that the plugs (3) of one strip pass through the holes (5) of the binder and enter the sockets (4) of the other strip. The teeth (7) of the plugs (3) engage the teeth (8) of the plugs locking the binder (1) between the strips (2).</p> |
