<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head and a record reproduction device which are advantageous to relieve a requirement to accuracy for a part and the accuracy in mounting and realize lower-costs. <P>SOLUTION: A division means 28 comprises a prism of quadrilateral shape with one cone point and four planes. An optical axis L of a reflected light beam to be incident on the division means 28 is configured to pass through the peak of the prism and be identical with straight lines with the same angle to each of the four planes. The reflected light beam is separated into four reflected light beams by being refracted at the four planes and led to an optical detection means 5. Since the optical axis of the reflected light beams and each of the four planes are in the same angle, the four reflected light beams refracted and divided at each of the planes are separated into positions at an equal distance focusing on the optical axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
